This was taken just a mile away from our house. I read online that it will be a Full Moon of the Year that night. I decided to get out and probably to take some pictures of the moon not ever knowing on how to get a nice shot on dark nights.

This was taken just a mile away from our house. I read online that it will be a Full Moon of the Year that night. I decided to get out and probably to take some pictures of the moon not ever knowing on how to get a nice shot on dark nights.
While I was out to take a picture with the Full Moon of the Year, I cruise around the neighborhood and wind up by the Sacramento River overlooking the field. The sun was settling down and here is a snapshot of it.
I just got my Nikon DSLR more than a week and decided to give a try shooting some pictures without knowing the basic concepts on photography.
